mood: hopefulhopeful
music: pon de replay - rhianna (fuck off...:))

I'm trying a new experiment. Whenever I'm out and about, instead of having headphones on, listening to music (with the exception of my commute to work), I will...not have headphones on. I think I tend to tune out the world around me and its happenings to an unhealthy degree. It puts up a barrier that gives me an excuse to not interact with others - which is painful in the first place.

Today I was very successful at social intercourse. I wonder if it had to do with the experiment, or was I just really on top of it today?

Either way.

I'd love to say more, it's been a rather eventful day. But the alcohol buzz has been replaced by sleepiness, and four am comes sooner than one would like to admit. Nighties.

Yes, I have to agree.4 am comes all too soon(It's 4:15 am right now).

I also have found that not listening to music(at work)helps me with my
head.It helps me think things through.Hell I've got 8 hours of talking to no one,and I might as well make it constructive.(finally my headaches have stoped, yay for me but I'll stop rambling).

May the goddess lift your spirit and fill you with joy:)

Utne just had an article about that very phenomenon not too long ago, titled "Turn up the quiet" (or silence; I forget). Good old social intercourse!
